Certification Required

Uzbekistan requires the following for used vehicle import:

  • SBKTS (Single Window for Technical Regulation) – Certificate of conformity for vehicle safety and emissions. Required for all imported used cars.
  • GOST-U or UzTR (Uzbek Technical Regulation) – Equivalent to ECE standards. The vehicle must comply with UNECE regulations, which Chinese-market Prados generally meet.
  • Emission Certificate – Euro 5 or Euro 6 compliance. Chinese Prados sold after 2020 are Euro 6.
  • Vehicle Age Restriction – Uzbekistan allows vehicles up to 7 years old from year of manufacture. Prados 2020-2024 are eligible.

What is the maximum age of a used Prado that can be imported to Uzbekistan?
